Hot off the press; Chinti and Parkers Autumn Winter look book and lovely it is too, even if I say so myself. I love Chinti and Parker’s simple easy luxe clothing and was mentally shopping as I was designing their new look book.

Another logo and website finished at the end of last year was for über cool interior designer Sarah Vanrenen. Sarah wanted a chic new logo and image for her site and printed graphics. I really like how the logo appears ‘active’ by having the word designs in italic. The inky backdrop is wonderful for making Sarah’s colourful interior photos pop as well as giving the site the sophisticated look it needs.

I have just designed the new logo and website for amazing chinoiserie artist Freddie Wimsett. Freddies work is simply gorgeous, he is so talented. His work ranges from walls to screens and each job is of course hand painted and unique. He has just finished painting a show space in the oriental room at Christies, a mural for fashion designer Alice Temperley and painted a woodland wonderland on some victorian shutters for… me! Take a look, I predict great things

I was sad to read the passing of photographer Eve Arnold yesterday. I was very interested in photography as a teenager, so much so I considered it as a career while at art college. I was a huge fan of Eves photos which really resonated with me. Obviously famous for her infamous photos of Marilyn Monroe I found her photos glamourous but also warm and intimate. There is also beautiful stillness to them which I go back to time and time again. 99… an amazing age to aspire to, an incredible career and a pioneer for women.
