Plum & Ashby
Happy to showcase the work I did for new homeware company Plum & Ashby at the end of last year. Calling on a nostalgic past of General Stores and utilitarian yet quirky products the simple logo and packaging styles can be mixed and match to create an unmatched but clearly united range.
A selection of logos and a multitude of moodboards and packaging styles completed the projects and I am...

Chinti & Parker AW13 Lookbook
Very hard to be ‘in the now’ when I am wishing time away longing for the Chinti & Parker Autumn Winter 2013 collection. As always, delicious cashmere and quirky prints that I would like to be wearing right now.
The look book has a classic navy cover with white foil type while the inside showcases the fabulous imagery shot by Mel Bles on powdery uncoated paper.

Christian Louboutin Miami Invites
Thrilled to have worked on the Christian Louboutin / Ye Hongxing invites with Fiona Leahy, event and party planner extraordinaire, for a recent party at Art Basel, Miami. Inspired by the amazing sticker artworks the invite is a sheet of stickers for the recipient to create their own work of art.
The envelope was red lined and sealed with a neon smilie. I love smilies! This theme was...

Tim Walker At Somerset House
Planning a trip soon to Somerset House to see the new Tim Walker exhibition. I am a total fan girl going back many years and was lucky enough to work on an invitation for him when he launched his last amazing book at at Jigsaw event. I love the fantasy, creativity and unexpected in his work. He works for high fashion tomes but also creates something out of a fairy tale. The exhibit features props...
As the nights draw in...
…my thoughts turn to warmth as I am always freezing! Still using Pinterest for inspiration and being drawn back to multi layered imagery which seem right for winter nights and roaring fires (with hopefully some sloe gin). My amazingly talented friend Freddie Wimsett recently painted the Victorian shutters in my home with a silhouette landscape of trees and birds. Time for the procrastinating...
A new wave of web layouts
Liking the recent trend of websites being laid out like tumblr blogs. Is it because blogs seem more contemporary or fresher compared to a traditional site? Either way, I like it. I also like mixing clothing with lifestyle imagery or going super graphic and using colour. Take a look, Saint Laurent, Zara, Equipment and mighty Mother Denim who were pretty much first of the block I think (love those...
"A nod to a simpler past"
Over the past week or so I have been mulling over the rebranding and renaming of YSL / Yves Saint Laurent to Saint Laurent Paris. While I love the retro fabulousness of the YSL logo I can see the need to refresh it and start a new chapter. Originally YSL was called Saint Laurent Rive Gauche (how rive gauche!) so this is a nod to the past invented for the future.
However watching the TV the other...

Chinti and Parker for goop
It’s no secret that I am a Chinti and Parker devotee so I was excited to see their latest collaboration with Gwyneth Paltrow and goop. My original graphics have been altered for the occasion to make a super cute bespoke version and I am loving the CP monogram changing to GP (although I do rather like having my own branded CP Caroline Popham cashmere knits ;)) - check them out...
